16 Apr Free Youth Graffiti Workshop: The Fine Line
Free Graffiti Art workshop for Youth age 8–18 with Guest Artist Rigel Richardson (Insta @rigelfish)
4/16/20 6:00–7:00pm
Location: Pittsburgh Learning Commons @ Community Forge
If you feel like your mind races and your body stores up impulsive energy and you just want to DO something? Local Pittsburgh artist Rigel Richardson will show youth how to unleash that energy through mark-making using drawing materials and paint markers on paper and canvas. Rigel will walk youth through the process she uses in her own artwork and demonstrates how channeling movement and feeling can help anyone express themselves and find a little more peace of mind in the process.
This program is hosted by the Hemispheric Conversations Urban Art Project. HCUAP is working in partnership with Rivers of Steel Arts and The University of Pittsburgh, to galvanize the relationship between post-industrial environments and urban arts.
